Council Adoption Meetings
City Council held a first reading to review the draft plan on Monday, October 6th at 6:00 pm at City Hall. This meeting included a public hearing, and we appreciate the members of the public who came out to comment. During the public hearing, consultants shared this presentation, which summarizes the draft Plan.
City Council held a second reading to consider adopting the draft plan on Monday, November 3rd at 6:00 pm at City Hall. During this meeting, the Council adopted the Comprehensive Plan.
Previous Activities

On Thursday, April 10th, a public kick-off event was held at the Gaffney Visitor's Center and Art Gallery. Attendees were able to view information about the plan, provide feedback, and converse with consultants. If you missed the meeting, you can still participate! You can view the materials from the public kick-off event here.
Throughout the month of April, a community survey was available online. The short survey provided a range of questions that helped gauge the public's concerns, interests, and vision for hte future. Thank you to the more than 300 participants! A summary of the feedback is shared in the Planning Commission Meeting Presentation from May 13th.
